Team Harrison Update

This is the latest update on Team Harrison from today…

To all our friends and family. Team Harrison and all of us here at NAFBM are asking for prayer’s for Harrison. Today is his surgery to remove his tumor. They will be removing 6 lower teeth, a portion of his chin and replacing that bone with a healthy bone from his leg. We are hoping for a successful outcome that allows Harrison a long and healthy life.

Please pray that all goes right and that God is watching over everyone in the room.

As the surgery is proceeding, things are moving along quickly. The tumor has been removed and the have harvested the fibula to reform his chin. The told us that all is going well but still a long way to go.

Harrison is still currently in surgery however the doctors have advised that Harrison is cancer free!!!!

The tumor has been removed, Harrison is still in surgery but the tumor is gone. Right now they are in the process of grafting his fibula to the remaining portion of his lower mandible, and reconnecting his blood vessels in his neck. The Dr’s have spoken with the family and are saying things are going good right now and that Harrison is doing great – minimal blood loss has happened the fibula bone graft looks good. They are hoping that it grafts well and that there are no issues with that. He has a long recovery ahead of him and will be spending the next couple of nights in the ICU. Candace (Harrison’s Mother) will be spending the next couple of nights with him as Jameson (Harrison’s Father) takes care of Ryan and Andrew (Harrison’s Brothers).

Once he is recovery and out of surgery we will update again.

All the information about Harrison’s surgery today was given to us by both Harrison’s Aunt and Father. They are passing big Thank You’s to everyone for the continued prayers.
