After the constant tackling of Jennifer’s never-ending to-do list of professional and mom duties, she decided to take time out to socialize with other moms. After a small ladies’ night out filled with dinner and dancing, Jennifer felt renewed. This new found spark allowed Jennifer to become a more patient and effective mom, spearheading the creation of NAFBM.

By socializing with her peers, Jennifer began to build a foundation to support healthy, balanced lifestyles for all moms. After finding they lacked time to take care of themselves in addition to raising families and building households, Jennifer vowed to start a movement dedicated to helping moms Recharge, Renew, Rejuvenate and Relax on a regular basis.

The result is the formation of the National Association for Balanced Moms – an organization dedicated to providing resources, motivation, inspiration and mom-centered events to moms everywhere, allowing them to Recharge their energy bucket, Renew their souls, Rejuvenate their health and Relax their minds.

In the future, alongside growing her other business, Sweet Success Business Services, a virtual assistance business, Jennifer intends to expand NAFBM by implementing Balanced Mom Hub Centers with local resources and services in cities nationwide and internationally.

Sarah Withey, Director of Events

I am the Director of Events for the National Association for Balanced Moms and the Contributing Photographer for The Balanced Mom Magazine.

I have been working with Jennifer Griner and the organization since 2011. However, Jennifer and I met in 2010 at her very first networking venture and we were able to stay connected.

At the amazingly fun launch event called, A Moms Night Out Extravagance, I was asked to be the photographer. After the event, I saw so many moms enjoy their escape for the night and I was hooked! I felt my calling to make the Balanced Mom Movement a reality for moms across the nation.

What I love about being part of NAFBM are the connections I am able to make with so many amazing women. I learn many things from them which helps me grow as a business mom.

I am married to my best friend and we have a beautiful and energetic 5 year old daughter, Ava Grace. She is my little protege. She loves to socialize and help mommy network.

“My son Matthew and I enjoy being in nature. We are both tactile and are solar powered (maybe me me more than him). Star Wars Clone Wars is part of our shared time together since it always provides a great opportunity for us to look at what an episode has evoked in us.

I believe in a sense of humor and of being aware of what motivates us to do what we do. I believe people come into our lives to reflect an aspect of who we are. Sending a warm and welcoming hug to you for being a part of NAFBM.”
